Yes that's fine. No need to recreate the wheel
Omg, lol! If it's illegal, all HRs should be in jail. Everyone is mixing and matching JDs from job boards. No worries!
The vest marketing is usually plagiarism anyway.
Plus are only so many ways to describe/advertise roles!

Do you mean job descriptions or job ads? Job Descriptions, if you already have someone in a role, it might be best to sit down with them and figure out what their day-to-day responsibilities, what types of long-term projects they work towards, and the physical requirements then make a document outlining essential functions and other job duties based on that information. If you don't have someone in a role, by all means look up templates for roles with similar/same titles, then tweak to better fit your company and what the department has in mind for the role.
If you mean a job ad, yes -scope out other companies ads for similar positions, just make sure to edit information to make it more applicable to your position, and that the verbiage is more in-line with your company culture.
I don’t get this answer. A job ad is a job description that’s posted?

That’s completely normal - you want to keep it consistent with the market anyways.
As others are saying, it's actually a good idea to see what others are publishing, both so you will be aware of how your role fits in the market and to look for ways to differentiate your listing. In the current talent market, finding a way to get the attention of job seekers is a good thing.
Nah, it's hard to prove that you took the job description from someone else. Especially if it's a common role, then there would most probably overlaps here and there.
Besides, there's a chance the one you copied off of also copied the JD from somewhere else.
I usually research on the internet how to phrase J
Ds and I don't think there's an issue.
