How does your workplace measure the success of a marketing campaign and do you think that method is a valid/smart way of measuring it?

Is bonus usually 20% of base for finance roles, especially at VP and SVP level? The company recruiter has asked what are my bonus expectations

I'm a marketer and I'm having a hard time getting my clients to listen to me.

I have been in marketing for 10 years now. I've worked with hundreds of clients and have been able to increase their sales by over $1 million each year.

But every time I go into a meeting with a new client, they ignore everything I say. They just want to talk about their product. They don't seem interested in learning how to market it better.

I’m potentially moving from a senior social role to an account management position. I feel I’ve capped my growth in social and want to explore other sides of the business. Any tips to set myself up for success?

Has anyone ever been "let go of"? Either laid off or fired. How did you get through it?

I saw that there are a bunch of customer service positions open and I don't know if it's somewhere that would fairly easy for someone with just 1 year of experience. Hello! How can I break into the creative branding industry with 3 years of basic marketing knowledge, a self made website, and an extensive sales background in the CPG industry

Feeling like it's only a matter of time before I have to tell the new marketing dept head that the snazzy jargon just makes him sound like a tryhard and alienates our customer base
