Paypal Hello, I've been offered Data engineer /Software Engineer at PayPal, india.
How's the company doing, is it profitable? Bit skeptical about the recent layoffs at PayPal.
Any data engineers at PayPal around? Whats your thoughts, how's the team doing and how would be the growth?

7 days means they have lot of projects going on and short on resources so you'll get calls from managers so that you can expect project joining within a week and as far i know my friend was on bench for 2 weeks and i think that is maximum time on bench also if you don't get any calls from managers you can use ijp to look for internal openings and i recommend using that to get project that you want to join.
Job security is good
Bench period is maximum 7 days
if project is consulting based then it is long term but there are projects which are short term so it depends
Before saying yes to project ask all the details and you can say no if you don't want to join that project but be ready with good reason.
