I feel like I’m not learning anything and I don’t trust my managers to know how to generate revenues (no strategic revenue growth in 3y) and I don’t even work in the math models or finance topics that seemed interesting when I joined.

Hello everyone, I am graduating this May as a double major in business management and operations and supply supply chain management. I interned at a large 3PL last summer and it led to a full time offer as a operations supervisor. I am supposed to start this June but for some reason I'm not sure if I am on the right track. Are firms willing to negotiate the role with campus hires? I received an offer for a big 4 in risk, which I signed early in September, but just now received another offer in TAS from a different firm. While I much prefer the big 4 firm, I do not want to work in risk anymore. Would a big 4 be willing to change groups? Have you heard of anyone able to do this? I feel kind of bad, but I truly despise the idea of working in risk now. ( My friend who's in the role right now hates it)

Newly barred attorney here of almost a year. Looking to maybe ditching the “traditional” attorney/bar licensure track and going into other areas where JD degrees/lawyers are preferred. Anyone have experience with this untraditional track?

I’m a 9th year in a mostly litigation-based practice group at a one-tier partnership firm. My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. What’s the best option here if partnership is the ultimate goal? Try to get a NEP/counsel position at another firm, which is likely difficult in my market, or offer to take a class cut by a few years?
