Exactly, are you trying to work in IT? What's your plan?
Why tho
If you want to pursue a master's in IT to be able to solve financial problems using Data Analysis or other programming techniques which you don't learn in Finance, then I'd say it's an excellent choice. As long as you can show firms what value you add, it shouldn't be a problem.
If you're doing it purely out of interest and are tired of finance, then I'd say that should be fine too since happiness comes first and the tech space has good career opportunities as well.
