Sounds okay? Also recently I just saw a 2018 S with 50k miles, white on black, for $33k. Didn’t pull the trigger because they put brand new Toyo tires on it.
Agreed ive seen a few in that range as well.
Yeah, seems a bit high. Those specs should be around $30K-$32K for a six year old Macan S.
The warranty. The lease on my Mercedes 300 GLC runs out in August. I think I’m going to turn it in and lease a new one. My problem with buying it is that these cars are so complicated from an electrical/computer standpoint—what happens when they start breaking?
Hmmm. I’m not sure that’s the right calculus. I’ve never leased before so I can’t speak to the pros but people do over exaggerate problems in German cars and you’re not gonnq have any or many problems till 75-100K at least. Yes, problems start happening but depends on a) luck - you may have gotten a shitty engine / got dealt a bad hand in the assembly line, b) your driving patterns - rough or gentle, city or suburb, long or short distance, and c) how well the car was maintained. I bought a 328i in 2020. It had 125K miles on it. I spent some money on it but since then it’s been great. I only use synthetic premium gas, and maintain it. It’s reaching 150K so it’s getting there, but that’s expected.
Fiend has one, have not rode in it but did sit in it... Really beautiful in and out (white over brown interior). He just had to do all the brakes and it was $6500 from the dealer.
I saw one a year older but and same miles for only 28k
Post a pic
My worst nightmare. lol. Yeah, gotta switch it out soon. Appreciate the inspiration. Now add more pics! Lol
Thanks for info, all. I’ll see if I can get it to at least $35k. Probably will pull the trigger either way, but won’t hurt to try
Paying cash or financing?
Depends on maintenance history, clean car fax, how many owners, what options etc. That is about average price. Would also look for comps with in 300 miles of you. Also is it a certified pre owned
Yay
That is a tad high. Is it private party or dealership?
It may not hurt to look for 2017's with lower miles, for less $$.
