Me and my husband booked a house back in March for 1.3 M in Bay area. We paid the EMD of 30K. Since then the real estate price has dropped and interest rate has increased. Should we let go of 30k and wait for market to cool down further or should we go forward with the purchase. Closing is next month.

Is the HRA and house rent factor in salary are the same.

And LTA is depend on HRA amount.

Junior Associates - How much student loan debt are you and your peers in these days? A few young partners and counsel at my firm were discussing the student loan moratorium and most of us were convinced we could have paid the majority of our loans off with the bonuses associates got these last two years. But we are all old and when we graduated 150k to 200k was about the max student loan debt people graduated with. So educate me. What is the average student loan debt these days?

Right now sitting at 40% cash in brokerage account. Want to decrease the cash reserve to 15% to 20% but not sure if I should just buy more stocks now or wait for the next market correction. I know never time the market but still.....
