I just got a job offer for an Entry Level Software Engineer at Boeing in Saint Louis. The salary is $82,000 with an $8,000 sign on bonus. I was hoping for an offer closer to 90k base and I don’t care too much for a sign on bonus. However, this is a lot more than what I’m making now, and would be my first SWE job. Should I counter? If so, how would I go about doing that? Thanks!

I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Macro tracking & body building experts - what should my macros & calorie count be if I want to lost 10-15 lbs? I'm 142 (due to stress and hormonal changes).

My scale's app says my BMI is 25.3 - just hitting into the overweight bar & 19.8% fat.

Used to be around 23 BMI and 18% fat pre-pandemic in 2019.
