That's interesting, and something I think about from time to time. I tend to believe there is a law of diminishing returns at times in studying data. If you stare at charts for an extended time, as in the example, you'll move beyond your first impression and how your instincts and experience guide you. It's possible you may start to see nuances or odd details that can sway you and undermine your initial assessment. There's probably some sweet spot of considering charts where you're seeing what you need to make a solid decision but not so much that you lose confidence in what you're doing.

I have a rental property and my tenant is asking me to change the fridge light burb. I live out of state and don’t have property manager locally. Is it bad if I ask them to change the fridge light burb themselves?

I’m pretty responsive for things they need help with like laundry machine got broken or pantry doors fell off. So I had sent people to fix those maintenance and repair issues.

But light burbs? Srlsy? They are grown up people (fresh out of college girls)

How early is it to early to take a week off ?? So I just started a new job a week ago.My office is really lenient and supportive of people traveling. But I still feel bad about it.

I just bought an Alexa for my grandma's birthday. Her old radio broke and she's been kind of sad because she can't listen to her favorite music anymore while cooking, so I thought this would be a good pick. She'll have her favorite music right there.

Later today my grandpa tells me she's not been asking Alexa for her favorite music, but for her radio stations instead 😭😂

Hey guys, so I have competing offers. One at Bank of America for 124, and one at Allspring for 110.

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about compensation structure at Allspring, or any opinions on the culture there. I would be in Charlotte.

Just curious to how my firms (wealth management/bank/trust) comp compares with others out there. I received a promotion earlier this year from an Investment Advisor, AVP to Senior Investment Advisor, VP and moved from $110K to $140K ($130 salary + $10K discretionary bonus) all in. By meeting expectations in 2 pay cycles, the base bumps up to $175K + bonus. Grown in this role over about 10 years with the same firm, MBA + CFA; top 10 city and living comfortably as dual income household.
