I am only 4 months into being a surgical coordinator. I love the position itself however I am struggling to adapt into my new work environment. My position puts me in a place where I need to interact with my new coworkers but they are not as welcoming as I expected. There is also another surgical coordinator however I have come to find from other staff that there is a long history of her running other staff away and not fully training other surgical coordinator staff properly. Any suggestions?

I left my job without having anything else lined up otherwise I would have had a mental breakdown. I’m not even in that great of a financial place, but it was my job or my sanity. I know at least three other people who, in the past few months, have left with nothing lined up. I feel like it’s something we need to be talking more about. This isn’t normal for people to be doing this right?

I am working for a client in infosys and the project is in initial stage and the go live is somewhere in January.

Now the thing is this project has lot of toxic people from client team and they play blame games on daily basis.

I am working as a team lead here and want to get deallocated from this project.

If you owned your own firm, what would you do to improve staff retention for Black employees?

Hey guys partner kinda said something during a meeting and I low key lost it during the meeting, we kinda cooled it out. But what are somethings I can tell leadership to do better for black or people of different cultures, I actually think partners should go to some of these meetings we have.

I’ve been lurking at the net worth/savings posts on here. I started out negative and am still negative and working on it. Is it common amongst minorities or just me? My folks couldn’t help.

Anybody work in ethics and compliance? If so, what’s your current role and previous experience? I’m curious what my career path could look like in this area. I previously was in public accounting
