Currently I pay $1900 for a brand new & modern 1BHK in the Greater NYC area. Moving to SF later this year. Any recommendations on how much to budget for SF? Will be working in Downtown area & currently got a car. I am little bit divided on whether to sell the car or move it to SF.

Looking for a good neighbourhood and ok with 30 minute commute to work.

I just finished what I thought was the final round of interviews for a job that I really want. Everything has been going extremely well. The recruiter just called to tell me that they want me to do one more round, though. This will make 8 interviews total, including a full case study presentation to 4 people. Should I be worried? Hi fellow teacher assistants, instructional assistants, teachers aide, paraprofessionals. I am a full time k assistant in an elementary school. I'm wondering how other schools share lunch duty.

Do you know what the 2022/2023 school year looks like at your school?

Just wondering if others have a clue what’s going on. We have been told nothing about how we will do our job this year. Or if we even have a job. Our school is doing in school for K-6 and hybrid for 7-12. I’m not sure if I even want to be there. It’s very concerning to me.

Do y’all get moved around from hall to hall? I’ve been moved so many times. I have 2 more years until I can retire.

I feel like in our school they are asking more and more of aides and other staff with no certification (beyond HS diploma). Don't get me wrong I don't mind helping out but we are the lowest paid position in the district, why are we asked to fill in for everyone else with no compensation? Ive subbed in classroom and special areas... um even uncertified subs make more than me... admin insists this is happening everywhere and we need to be flexible... but is it really?!?!
