If you're wondering what your actual impact on sustainable development is as a sustainability consultant, have a look.
Main argument is that the entire ESG industry is not grounded in scientific boundaries and therefore doing more harm than good.

I am sorry, is this LinkedIn or some dating blog?

A little bit of motivation for us all.

Like, I dunno man, you okay...?

Thought I was on LinkedIn when I saw this one

$1000 says this didn’t happen. 🤣 😂

The update really solidifies the cringe for me 🫣

And now.. let me take a selfie!

I kinda envy people who are able to post this kind of ***** without an ounce of self-consciousnesses or fear of backlash... I really do
The only backlash will be from boomers who complain about not getting 5y PQE candidates for entry level salaries.
Facts. What is cringe about it?
Enthusiast
Boomers like OP think "Work is not life and work is just to get money" mantra is bad and laziness
I think OP is upset no one is responding to their "must work in office 5 days a week" jobs.
What part of this is cringe?
Agreed.
A recruiter who diminishes someone for speaking out for work life balance is cringe and disheartening.
Agreed!
Not seeing the cringe here, to be honest. Advocating remote work is a good thing - every day I'm required to be on-site is a day I pay a fucking fortune for childcare.
As for millennials and gen-z being entitled, yes there are a few utter snowflakes but most of us just want fair pay and a bit of basic respect.
@CA1 In short, yes. The cost of childcare is prohibitively expensive. Kiddo is old enough to be ok alone if I'm in the house but not old enough to be left alone completely.
So no one told you that your post would go this way 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Excellent comment. Well done.
Love this LinkedIn post! I don’t see anything cringe about her post. We’re sick and tired of living just to work. No wonder there’s a new trend of folks just leaving the workforce entirely at very young ages, and some even becoming the so called Stay at Home Girlfriends (STAG)…per the wall street journal.
Gen-X here. The only thing cringe is that OP thinks this LinkedIn post cringe-worthy. I support this Jess person 1,000,000%.
She got a python wall decor at her OWN HOME?…… that’s more cringe than the post.
For someone like me who can’t turn up at work at 9am everyday because I’m unsure if I’ll be able to drive, or can’t stop throwing up from my illness, I can still work when I’m well. If a remote job can let me keep working and providing for my family, so be it. When I was younger, remote jobs were only part time side hustles. It’s great that I don’t have to pick up three remote online jobs, writing social media ads, blogging for other people or editing books, I can get a real job, that pays well, has benefits and I’m being productive. It makes me feel less of a cripple and more of a person. My brain still functions fine, I still have all the skills I learnt, I just have health issues that prevent me from getting a full time job at another location. You don’t have to open a home business anymore and start your own business because you can’t get a job, people are happy to hire you as long as you do the job required.
