About to start at PwC. How’s the work culture there? Do you guys get any fitness benefits(ie paid gym memberships). Hotel discounts and car rental discounts? (Not perksatwork). And how long do you get for parental leave?
Also I’m trying to get some certifications when I get here (preferably in automation/ analytics). Are there any good ones I can get n how do I start?

There are hotel and car rental discounts outside of Perks at Work. Additionally, Southwest is running a perk where you can get 12 months of A-list status if you sign up now and book two flights within 90 days of signing up. Awesome that’s great to know. I have gympass access in my current job but it didn’t have the gym I go to in my area. But Not a huge deal. We get like 1000$ a year towards fitness benefits / gym memberships

Certs are super easy to get. There’s internal micro sites for everything — just ask your coach and there will be an established process to get a voucher / study material.
Gyms: we have Gympass which is awesome. You pay a fixed, subsidized rate for a “Tier” of gyms in your city (you choose), abs you can go to any gym in that tier or below. I get my $90/month gym for $25 instead this way. Great perk

Not sure about parental leave but I know it’s generous compared to industry. I know when you come back you come back at 80% (or maybe it’s 60%? Can’t remember) of hours or something like that to gradually come back
Parental leave is 8 weeks plus an additional 6 weeks STD for birthing parent ( 8 weeks for c-section or twins/ multiples, and you get 2 weeks use it or lose it prior to due date). You can also use up all vacation time and unpaid leave up to 6 months total time off

Only considering this since my wife and I may start trying soon for a baby but seeing at its a remote role here I guess I’ll live.
