Currently at my firm (digital practice) for 2.5 years making 110k in NYC - pushing for Manager by Q2 2019. Is it worth sticking out for promotion, or should I make a move (soon)?
Is there such thing as early promotion in the Big4? If I don’t get promoted this October, when is the earliest I can get promoted?
Hi folks.. just wanted to know the levels of promotion and progression in ey gds wfa. I joined as senior consultant. How will my advancements to next level would look like. Also, how about the hikes...??
First year level 9 (consultant) expecting to hear about pay raise this Wednesday (will be minimal) I am leaving the firm and new offer wants me to start on 11/26, should I ask to start 12/4 so I can..
When you immediately start looking for a job after your promotion and raise... For more money....
What is Manager 2 designation in EY GDS ? How long it takes to get next progression and promotion from this level to next level ?
A friend at UBS just got a raise. Is it normal to get mid year raise like this at UBS? It came as a total surprise to this friend.
Promotion came thru this week. For the first time, asked my driver to stop at the gas station so I can get a beer. His response “typically only men headed home to their wives request this, good week?"
Got the good news RE promotion. What a long-ass road. Mens Warehouse full price rack, here I come.
As I prepared to file my notice, the partner of the firm called me and asked me to stay. They’re willing to promote me mid year in December and increase salary next year in August. The current offer I have gives 60% pay increase and Partner still can’t match that offer after promotion. Firm leadership says here I have potential to be a partner in 8 years and talk about all the leadership support I have rn which is fair. Is this one of their tactics to make me stay or should I just leave…
Is it worth speaking to HR if you keep getting passed up for promotion for the past year and a half (will be 2 in October) even if all your feedback is amazing and explicitly mentions from multiple ppl that you're ready for the promotion? (Assuming you can't leave due to other circumstances)
Thinking about opening a VC + growth capital fund. Can raise $50MM fairly easy, any senior person here in a VC or growth capital open to chatting?
Thinking of moving from FSO Assurance to Fraud and Forensics. I’m in Texas and a Senior 3. Should I expect a pay decrease or increase? Also what is progression/promotion like in Fraud and Assurance?
Holding an offer from Cognizant and joining as Senior Associate with 9.5 YOE. When I am eligible for next promotion Manager/Architect?
I got a good thing going on at work. I’m getting book work all the time but I am ready for a promotion. Here’s the thing, I feel like they don’t give promotions out unless you have an offer. My thing is, I don’t like to play that game. If I have an offer somewhere else I’m going to take it. Another dilemma is, it’s seems like everyone is hiring right now and they are all good opportunities. If I wait around, let’s say 6 months, I’m afraid no one will be hiring at that point. What would you do?
Hi anyone in PwC up for referral and making new connection ? I am looking for internship.

Firm is located in Los Angeles but remote is also a possibility (I’m fully remote and so are a few others). Clients we serve are ultra high net worth, real estate investors, and the entertainment industry. DM if you’re interested.
Hello fishers! I recently came across BCG opportunity that quite fit my background. Can someone give me an referral ? Thanks
Been 7 business days since my final onsite google interview and the recruiter told me yesterday “the hiring manager is still working on a final decision”. Am I toast?
Have anyone done contracting negotiations before? I've interviewed for co A & B and co A extended an offer today. The offer does not meet my current salary. Co B's interview structure is 3 rounds and I've finished my 2nd round today. The recruiter mentioned that since I am a contractor my current salary is incomparable as they will provide benefits, etc. Is this true? I have 2 yrs of contracting HR exp from fortunate 500 co’s & OMW to get my SHRM-CP. Appreciate your advice in advance.
Anyone else completely mail it in after giving their 2 weeks? Major senioritis for me rn. Probably had 2 billable hours today. Maybe

I signed an employment offer with a Company a week ago, and just yesterday received a(written) offer I am very more excited about! (Better salary, opportunities..) The HR of the other company is sending me the onboarding emails to start this Monday but I didn’t update my address to get the computer shipped. What should I do? Is it bad to join knowing I will leave or should I rescind now? I haven’t signed the other offer yet and my tentative start date (due to background checks+) is in November.
Can anyone give me a sense of the typical salary at EY Parthenon at the Vice President level? Base? Bonus %? Thanks in advance!
Signing bonus commitment date is coming up. Should I provide notice to quit now knowing that I’m going to leave after the date passes? I don’t want to hurt the project but I don’t want to screw myself
How is 72andSunny for non-white folks? I know they had a client-imposed diversity initiative following the General Mills win. Has it helped?
