Bring up the fact that you’d lose your hard earned bonus if you start early but that you’re excited to start with the new company. Try to negotiate a signing bonus to offset losing PBB
Ask the new company if they are willing to give you a signing bonus comparable to what you’ll forfeit at EY. If they are, get that in writing and then you still have the $$. If not, I wouldn’t leave. I don’t see a good reason to leave $$ on the table.

How much is your bonus?
What is your increase from EY—> Industry?
When is next round of raises? Average increase?
Should I miss out on raise first half year into the new job, or should I put in my notice now to transition earlier and miss out on EY PBB?
Put in your PTO at EY and start at the new place. Put PTO at new place and come back and give 1 week notice. Boom!
You can always communicate early that you have prior plans. Usually better to do it early then when all work starts to fall on you!
A few options: 1) Ask for a signing bonus to make you whole, 2) Ask for an increase in the offer amount that reflects what it would have been after the upcoming raises (have them bake the raise in, effectively), 3) do what SC2 said if it’s not violating your EY or new company’s contact. You can tell the new company you can start before 9/30 but have a pre-planned vacation you can’t change. Or just go on PTO from EY and give notice by email.
OP....can you hit us with my specific info? You could be talking about $2k bonus but $20k increase. These details matter.
