What? I never thought we would need that much energy. It will probably double again in the next few years.

I am not surprised. We all know this will eventually happen one day.

Exactly! And we are already in 2023. I'm no longer sure how much we need to use these electric semis.

I think what's more challenging is the transmission. Not to mention the distribution angle that looks daunting for utility planning.

To be honest this problem is very tricky. Figuring out charging infrastructure for the long-haul trucking industry represents a tricky and potentially lucrative problem. Let's just see where this takes us.

That's too much energy. We are not even sure how much we need in the next few years. Maybe twice or thrice.

What do you think would be the hardest part? For me, it could be maintenance or supply.

Is there a definitive guide to cost of living? The obvious cost of living centers (SF, NYC, LA etc.) get covered a lot, but I’m wondering where my city falls. It’s a modest Midwest city with ~100k residents but is a relatively touristy spot. It often feels like a MCOL area but I’m not sure how to adequately judge that, and it would be helpful to know when comparing salaries and the like.
