Hi guys, it's been 4 weeks since i joined GDS , I was assigned a POC task, in which I worked for a few days but now its on hold.

Could someone help me know what's avg bench time or how to get projects here, who should I contact(other then counsellor) or if there's any internal portal to apply for open positions in a project?

Received an offer for an internal promotion and the verbal offer differed from the written offer. Specifically, the bonus verbalized was 2% higher than the offer letter. HR basically just said ‘sorry, our mistake the letter is right’. What would you do?

Hello all, I am a production manager for a sign design and manufacturing company. I have been with the company for six years now starting as lead graphic designer working my way to the production manager. since becoming the production manager two years ago I am responsible for 4 large format printers and 1 vinyl plotter. Would you stay living in a city you like but have very few friends there, or move back to your hometown where most of your friends and family are? My current city has a population of about 500k and my hometown is about 100k. My main reason to move away from my hometown was dating and jobs, but neither seem to be going any better over the past 2 years. As a tax manager how do you stop feeling like a factory worker on the line churning out tax returns? I’m outgoing and do not like being in the weeds…stayed in public accounting thinking making manager would get me to more of a sales/client relationship position but nothing changed since I was the main client contact as a senior and now have no one to delegate to.

Anyone get frustrated when others have poor mic set ups in calls? It’s hard enough to get everything I need out of meetings when no one will put their camera on but it also have each person that speaks also to have they voice distorted in a different way just grinds my gears. Take some pride in your work. If you want to work from home, invest in a good microphone.
