^my dude you just described every single consulting firm...
Don't culture is everything and this place does not excel in that realm
If you're tech or strategy stay put unless you're CDO or will get a promotion by leaving.
How far down can your throat take a partner’s dick? Fit for PwC depends on answer to this question
It really is sad to see so many people shitting on pwc. I came here 6 years ago from a smaller firm and ive never regretted it. There are good days and bad days, but on level I’ve been promoted quickly, found a good circle of people, and get to do some pretty cool stuff.
I will say that very little is handed to you. You have to find projects, build your brand, make sure you are aligned to the right people. Those who understand the game tend to do well. The rest just take to fishbowl.
Not sure of ACN, but I don’t mind it here.
Both firms are huge. You cannot compare enterprise to enterprise- it's meaningless. Need to think about more micro level practices and teams- where the real business exists and where the real culture matters.
Stay! I came from PwC about 8 years ago. Culture is completely different. Are you up for SM soon? What LOB are you in? If strategy, digital, or security, would def stay ACN.
Not really. I agree with that sentiment. My comment was directed at the people who seem to think pwc is one of Dante’s circles of hell

Agree with PWC2
Y you leaving us
Not worth it OP. The culture is terrible. There are good people, but they are hard to come by.
M1 ,A2 got you there.
Let’s assume a promo out of the move. Still not getting the warm and fuzzies I was hoping for here...
OP why do you want to move?
And if Op is in tech, pwc is going to be much longer hours and less choice of projects since pwc is still growing in that area.
Was up for SM this year, not sure it’s going to pan out hence considering a move. Don’t necessarily want to leave but also don’t want to leave money on the table. Also seems like SM comp is very much bonus based (cash & RSUs) and not sure I trust it
Did it occur to you you probably suck? Jk we’re gonna miss you ❤️ 😘
I wouldn't do that jump of you're in tech. I did it for the money and to get out of my market and I regret not doing it some other way.
OP what are you making now and how much was offered?
