What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

It's literally like looking at people with glasses and saying "OUAHH vision performance enhancement!!! Glad I don't need glasses to see 😒"
^ judging much? I have a diagnosed case of ADHD and prescriptions for my meds. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t say something like “I’m glad I don’t need a wheelchair to do my work”, so please don’t be that guy/gal, ok?
Probably going to not get work done but will get through 2 dozen levels on candy crush
Adderall either helps me make a bomb ass spreadsheet or it makes me clean my apartment until it’s spotless, i rarely have a choice though
This is what privilege looks like. Those that have access to performance enhancing drugs and those that do not.
^ similar issue with Addy. After taking it I might either do a kickass deliverable or become expert in some random internet topic after browsing through 100 pages in 3h.
Side note... Shared screen with client to work on updating info on deliverable. He asked if I was running a macro because I was making changes that quickly. Blessed to be privileged.
Jesus, I’m glad that I don’t need to use drugs to do my job
I’m more of a vyvanse kind of guy .
As someone who literally never takes it more than I absolutely need to, and who has struggled with ADHD for life -- fuck everyone who thinks this is about getting an edge on peers. I don't care enough about y'all or this job to do all of that 🙄
@M1: This entire thread reeks of drug abuse, not medical necessity. Obviously different for people with medical necessity
What a time to be alive...
I like Andy as a nickname for Vynase.
BCG 1 you're right, you're blessed not to have a chronic mental illness. GFY
Legal cocaine
If you ever need to explain this effect- know that Adderall and Vyvanse are in the same family of drugs. Adderall is focus + motivation and Vyvanse is just the focus.
In both cases, you need to train yourself to focus on the correct thing, but Adderall pretty much agitates you into action, lol
Yeah, my SO thinks I’m going to die young with the consistent amphetamine use (heart going to explode). Is Vyvanse amphetamine based? I’m on 30 XRs. Also, try to do drug holidays every 3-6 months and get off of it for 2-3 weeks. But I have bad ADHD so it’s not an option to get off forever.
I don't need drugs to do my job but it sure helps me.
While y'all were fussing, I built a financial model that automated at least 3 FTEs' worth of effort for my client and did 150 push-ups
Shut up ACN1, KPMG1 is clearly a licensed psychiatrist with 8 years of medical education (4 till MD + 4 residency) who got tired of the ADHD farce and went to KPMG to work with real issues and deliver real value to real people with real problems.
