Admin wants to level our high schoolers into ELD 1, 2, and 3, which would mean mixing up freshmen and seniors...our staff is against it, but they are reacting to ELPA scores which, according to those who don't understand the strands, look abyssmal. I need some moral support here..,.,

abysmal - sorry, posted too soon!

What do you think of the leveling? What would your instructional services look like for each level?

My students are mixed by level AND grade in my classes! I feel that having more homogenous levels would be more beneficial than by grade. Why do you think your staff is against mixing grades?

And for moral support- there are benefits to both! Students like finding things in common with each other! And you will learn a lot about grouping lol

For those of you who completed AOS, in your I-944, did you only include your income (assuming it was above 125% of poverty line)?

Or did you include all information of assets and liabilites too even though your income is greater than 125%?

The form is really confusing, not sure if I need to include both income and assets/liability. My income is >250% of poverty line.

Hey YC bowl, need my weekly talk down from going to law school. Inevitably facing yet another week of mostly enjoying what I do while somewhat tolerating certain aspects of consulting. Not totally unfulfilled not totally unhappy. Decent WLB. Just cannot shake this law school bug. Haven’t been able to for years. Sort of encroaching a point where I’m not sure I’m even headed in my career in terms of developing hard transferable skills. For example, I feel like I don’t have an actual vocation. Lol

So, I’ve a master from a really good college, and 1 YOE. I’ve 3 pending offers, idk which is better. I’m leaving my current position because I don’t really get along with people here.

1. $125k with great work environment in a small company. Will have to do a lot of testing, rather than building. Steep learning curve.

2. $115k with 10k sign on. It’s Northrop Grumman, and idk if it would be a great idea to work for a big company. I’ll be working with spacecraft. Unknown work culture and team.
