ADP 401k plan . I met a prospect that told me he is not happy about the plan he set last year with ADP. Anyone have any experience with their type of plan , etc ?

ADP and Paychex both have 401k plans that they push on their payroll clients. Their service is garbage. They may or may not have an advisor on their current plan. They probably got a discount on the 401k plan costs by being a payroll client but if it’s a terrible plan it doesn’t matter how cheap it is. Yes, they can keep them for payroll and transition the 401k plan to another firm. John Hancock, One America, American Funds, Principal. They’ll all be way better.

Most have brokers but it’s not a requirement. You can become broker of record with 1 signature. Yes he can use ADP for payroll with a different plan record keeper

Couple of dumb questions, but thought I’d ask in hopes that I can get back on course. 24M with the following assets: ~$30k HYSA, ~$6,600 Fidelity Roth 401k from old employer, ~$14k Vanguard (60% traditional 401k, 4% Roth 401k), $13.5k M1 Taxable acct (ETFs). I make ~$100k annually (salary+bonus). I’m contributing the max to my 401k as of this year. Questions below:

Need help with deciding between two offers. Recently accepted an offer at another consulting firm only to have my current employer counter at the last minute. Here are the offers: NEW COMPANY (Global Consulting firm): -$115K base -10% annual bonus -401K match (4%) -Senior Consultant (security strategy) -10 weeks paid paternal leave - considerably cheaper healthcare - all the resources associated with larger consulting firms (training, mentorship, perks, etc)
