Mental and physical health check: how's everyone doing? I'm not doing well. Depression and anxiety have set in. I have no idea how I am going to survive this.
Hi MBB fish, trying to make a leap from a boutique consulting firm focused on healthcare, 6 years of experience. Is anyone willing to have a chat with me on how such a transition might work? I'm US-based.
Strategy& fish - i’m currently recruiting for org strategy. Ive talked to associates (in the healthcare practice) and theyve mentioned that it doesnt matter whether youre in corp strategy, org strategy, etc and that you’re pretty much pooled by industry when it comes to staffing.
Can someone confirm this? Also, what do you expect the restructuring to look like?
Hey Fishes, got an offer from PwC India. However It does not contain the values for the expected Variable Pay,appraisal cycle,no. of leaves, types of leaves employee would get, Reimbursable Flexible benefits available etc.. These all have just got mention in the offer letter and would be applicable as per Human Capital policy (which is not shared).
Is this standard PwC India offer template? If yes, can somebody share some insights. I have to take a decision soon. Thank you! PwC India
I am looking at pivoting to a sales job or recruiting. I am coming from a completely different field, previously working with mental health and young offenders. I am looking at an entry level sales role with CDW, for entry level sales, in Ottawa, as well as Aerotek for recruiting/sales (again entry level). Just curious if anyone's got first-hand experience with either companies or have any suggestions for companies in the area or remotely to look into. Thanks in advance all!! CDW Aerotek

If I have 21 RSUs vesting may 21 but another job offer (not from a FAANG but from a Series D SaaS), could I ask new company to “buy out” my RSUs? They want me to start May 1 so I can go on a company trip end of May. What are options people have tried? I don’t want to stay at Amazon until May 23 because will miss the trip with my new company and not have any time off in between jobs (I’m burnout). Amazon
Hey folks, I am a recent public health graduate who has a great deal of experience healthcare, health education and sales! I am looking to network and find a healthcare related job in the industry that would be a great fit for me. I’ve been looking at healthcare roles at Accenture, and some other big firms. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I recently became an APM this year. My org structure is pretty flat where I work with the vp of product/engineering, lead pm and director of engineering to manage the SDLC. The lead pm is going on maternity leave near the end of June and I’m about to be the only pm for a while. What would you do to best prepare yourself for the upcoming amount of ownership and responsibility I’ll be undertaking? I’d like to reduce the load on my vp as much as I can and build confidence in others. Thanks!
Just got offered a job for 80k and yearly profit bonuses about 6-7% of salary. My salary now is 65 with bonuses around 4%. The new job is with a small company but fairly similar to what I do now. I have two dilemmas. ONE is that I have 3 more interviews early next week with larger companies that might offer more benefits. Is it ok to tell the one company I need more time? And TWO is if I do get offered positions at these other companies. Should I take them because they are a bigger company?
New/pivoting into HR! 👋 Currently working as a TA Coord with a little entry level work in HR Ops prior to this. Is there a SHRM link, reliable test, or method of shadowing the various parts of HR that will provide a sample of the work, thinking, and day to day experience of each group? I didn’t go to school for HR and therefore haven’t had the opportunity to sample HR Ops. vs. TA vs. Comp vs. Benefits vs. Payroll, etc. I know work experience is the best barometer, but what can supplement this?
Hi to the healthcare community, I’m interviewing at a hospital for the first time as a PCA and nervous to say the least. I have about 6 months experience as a caregiver, a CNA, and a nursing student applicant. Are there any questions that may come up during the interview that I should prepare for? What about questions I should ask the interviewers?

Do you guys usually “react” to the interviewer’s answers to your questions? I feel like my reactions might come across as fake or try hard or just bland. I’ve tried to reiterate how it’s the same view as mine/what I’m looking for but it feels weird… or saying “thats really neat thanks for sharing” feels not enough.
Thought I knew about case interviews since I completed one when I was hired, but LOL in the last 5 years I think candidate lead case interviews have become more common. So bombed that, since I wasn’t aware I needed to ask for more info to identify the root cause.
