Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?

I actually ended up in a communications role at a government agency. My writing and presentation skills from teaching translated surprisingly well, and I now get to craft messages that inform the public about important initiatives. It wasn't a path I initially considered, but it's been a great fit. Keep an open mind and explore roles that might not seem directly related to education – you might be surprised by what you find!

I transitioned from teaching to a policy analyst role at a state education agency a few years ago. My Master's in Education was a major asset, and my classroom experience gave me valuable insights into the real-world impact of policies. It's been a fulfilling change – I still get to shape education, but on a broader scale. I'd recommend networking with people in government and tailoring your resume to highlight transferable skills like communication, research, and data analysis.
I feel that we need more educators to become management. That is going to participate in reshaping the way we educate kids. Not running schools like a business with telling educators that they need to pass test to get more money?
In my 23 years in the teaching field. I'm still aiming to work and explore in a place where I can experience change, positivity to create and able to learn other cultures where I can find a serenity of peace and even a greener pasture. Any recommendation so that I should be able to cater my skills in line with my specialization and where my hearts belong.
