After 2.5 months of no luck with any remote job, I have accepted an offer for remote work with Maximus. However, it is a temp RN role, only lasting about 5 months. Any advice on what to do in terms of if I decide I want to continue working there full time? How would I even go about it? Also, will this help me get a remote job with a different company if I have this remote role added to my resume? I just really want to stick to remote. TIA

I think volunteering as a family can help install the value of giving back and zakaat. How can one make Ramadan and Eid something to look forward to when holidays like Christmas seem to be purely joyous occasion that one doesn’t have to put in work for like fasting for Ramadan?

I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough. Hi! I'm currently interviewing (3/6 interviews so far) for for an appeals manager role for DME. The job entails not only to bill for dme (cms 1500) but also to follow up on any denials or appeals, amongst other administrative duties. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? How difficult is billing for dme as I only have experience in gyn onc and lactation billing? What's a fair salary? I have 8+ yoe in rcm, no certs.

I have an interview for a LTC/Rehab Nurse Manager, Infection Preventionist position next week. My base salary is $40/hour as a charge nurse. With overtime I’ll be finishing the year about $15000 above my base pay. I have questions: first, I know I’ll be putting in at least the same number of hours I’m current working (50+/wk). How do I leverage that to avoid a pay cut. Also, any tips from people in this position?
