McKinsey & Company Hi everyone. Hope all is well.
Recently took the McKinsey & Company game (not sure if I have an interview yet but preparing nonetheless). It’s an entry level business analyst position and an entry level digital position and was wondering if anyone wanted to case prep with me. I’m willing to work on anyones time zone. (I’m located in Sydney, Australia).
Partner Interview (6th interview).
Good or Bad?
My referral had interviews w/ (1)
recruiter, (1) SM, then the series of
(3) 1:1's w/(1) MD and (2) SM's.
The recruiter said he will now have
an interview in Jan. w/ the PPMD.
He interviewed for a M role in
consulting for customer marketing.
11 YOFE
He does have a wide skill set and the
recruiter said it was all positive
feedback, just have to find out
where to put him (on the team he
interviewed for or another he is
qualified for).Deloitte

A recruiter should reach out, but ask who referred you what's up.
Interested. Had two friends refer me for BB and heard conflicting info on applying myself (Bain was told to, BCG was told to not). For both referrals I provided my cover letter and resume and city prefs. Didn’t get an email confirmation for either
You should get an automated email 1-2 days after the email. Otherwise you just apply.
No need to wait unless you need the recruiter to give you feedback on your resume or something…
at PwC someone refers you, you get an email with a link and you use that to fill out your application on your end. may be similar at McKinsey....
If you work for a McKinsey client you need to proactively apply. And Recruiting might or might not receive a green light to accept your application.
