Looking from some insight on exit opportunities to tech firms - Amazon, Google, smaller tech firms. I have an engineering background but have mostly worked in finance for close to 10 years. I feel I am lagging in technology to get into these firms. Any recommendations on skills to develop?

I see quite a few positions hiring APM pretty far from now, for example for Sep 2023. Is that a normal practice? (Not an APM program or anything, just APM or PM position).
I would like to apply to one of those but I feel like it’s a bit strange to get an offer that is a year from now…

I am Product Owner, and have an opportunity to change my Title to "Product Manager". I am a 2nd year associate at a plaintiff’s firm specializing in toxic tort cases (individual). I’ve had the opportunity to be third chair on a trial, and will likely be second chair in an upcoming trial. However, given the track record of the firm and the amount of money at stake in each case, I am afraid I won’t get any first chair experience, if any, for at least another 5-7 years. I was a Manager at a Big4 doing PM fed work earlier this year. I decided to join a small firm to pursue cloud sales. However, the position is extremely technical in nature and I'm required to speak tech ( kubernetes, openshift, CICD) to potential clients.
While I have learned from the exposure, I dont intend to continue in a tech role & looking to exit. I'm thinking of Customer/ Partner Success Manager roles with one of the CSPs. Are there other non tech cloud exit opps in industry to consider?
