My pay would go from roughly $100k to $138,000, $30k of that non taxable, plus free health and dental
OP - consider a different firm if you like consulting? Lots of ops in the DC area, better pay.
Thought maybe down the road if I ever boomeranged maybe could be at a higher level and more related to government projects...
I’d look back at the reason you left in the first place. I would make more money going back but I know my quality of life would suffer. Maybe AGR is different than active though
Agreed, I’ve spoken with some officers on AGR, pros and cons to everything, reason I left active was deployment rotation. AGRs deploy much less often. But yes certainly something to consider.
