Aim for MD at Accenture (current M) or jump to Salesforce as an SM now? Which is better for long term career trajectory?

Is it hard to get into Salesforce? Big 4 consultant with 10 yoe, mostly in ERP/CRM implementation and program/project management, have Salesforce Admin cert but not much hands on experience due to mostly management exp, looking into Director TPM roles - should I apply? Or should I wait until I somehow gain more hands on SF experience?

Boomer. I am in between jobs. Laid off in 10/21 after 16+ yrs, with an ABA firm. RIF. Still on excellent terms. Took my time living off generous package and didn’t seriously start applying until 01/22. Made a rookie mistake and accepted first offer.

How to answer “What is Your Current Salary/$ Expectation” when my Big4 salary is HIGHER than what NewCompany will pay? Do I mention my salary to prove market value or be discreet so I’m not ruled out?

Would that deter you from applying online? For context, recruiter reached out first and the company was not on my radar before.
