Hi Fishes,
I Will be Joining PWC AC B as SA2 on Sept 2,2022. Just want to know about Appraisal cycle. Is it Mid Year or Annual appraisal process. Also, will I be eligible for next appraisal cycle ? Tried asking the same Question to HR, but didn't get a proper response. She just mentioned as per company policy.

AKQA has been a mess for a number of years. It’s basically a production studio now.
Hopefully it’ll change back to what it used to be now that it’s GreyKQA.
I’ve always enjoyed the culture and the people here. People are kind, respect each other’s time, and it’s not a place where late nights and weekends are common or expected. NY has had its moments over the past five years, but has never been able to quite get over the hump, but I’m more optimistic now. As for Ajaz, in my opinion, he’s more of a figurehead. I’ve met him a few times and he was nice, but don’t really feel his presence at all in the day to day. Each region’s Managing Director is probably more important.
You don’t have to work late night or weekends? Hmmm. Respectfully, burnout culture is rife and they pay terribly. The ceo is a cold human (robotic even), but WPP will tote him as a figurehead because he’s brown, but be assured he’s done nothing but hire and promote white men. There are no senior BIPOC throughout the organization. Look at all of leadership at akqa. The people are great though. Very smart, fun, but akqa just won’t acknowledge they are their biggest asset. I hope this puts the spotlight on akqa and forces them to make change.
Ajaz is a clown. True success story.
Every office has its own culture, but overall good vibes from the teams on the work. It does have a much better work life balance then I’ve had at previous agencies.
Our big issue like most of the industry is the lack of diversity as a whole, but especially in leadership roles. Hoping this merger helps push that into a better direction.
I’m hopefully this will make more opportunities for all of us that work at either AKQA & Grey.
