All BA4 folks, please share your opninion.

I recently joined Barclays @ BA4.
My Cctc is 11.5 lpa (9+1.5)
I got a hike of 65% on my current fixed.
And i was offered 16.1 lpa + 1lpa (yearly bonus, which is not included in the Offer letter)

My yoe : 4.1 (3.1years full time + 1 year (internship)
Tech stack : QA

Did i get a fair offer? Should I have had negotiated harder?

My expected was 17 lpa but i was happy to join such good org. Plus i didnt want my candiature to go on hold. So i accepted

Qualified Dividends: I’m expecting $650-$750 qualified dividend in 2021. Salary and base about $250 total. Questions: what tax rate will the qualified dividend be taxed at? The 15% or 20%? Also, since it’s technically a long term gain, do I have to pay an state and local on the income? Been reading for a bit and I can’t seem to find a clear answer. Thanks fishies!

I'm thinking about starting with a new company. I'm a commercial workers compensation underwriter with almost 3 years of experience. Is your firm treating 12/26 and 12/27 as firm holiday since the 24th and the 25th are during the weekend this year? Of course client demands would dictate whether people will be working, but curious what the official policy is. For what it’s worth, my firm treated the day after thanksgiving as holiday and I didn’t have to work for the whole day.

Hey all! I’m 30 years old. About to close on a house with a 5.75% fixed 30 yr mortgage. If you were me and your goal was to maximize your net worth by retirement, would you put a few thousand dollars extra into paying down the house faster or invest that extra money in the market? I need your immediate help for Barclays, i am in the middle of the interview process for Barclays Pune/Mumbai, I have heard that they do check Credit Report for all roles as a part of their Pre employment screening (May be stage 1).
Is that correct?
Can someone please check their Background screening report and confirm?
I think they use Hireright as their 3rd part agency but not sure.
