I’m 26 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out my leave. I live in NJ and work at PwC, any fishes know the policy for NJ and PwC? The leave center has not been much help and I want to plan NOW not like 60 days before. I was told NJ gets two weeks before due date and PwC gives you two weeks as well.

I'm not sure if this is true...I heard Slalom is "the place" for burnt out Big 4 consultants who are tired of traveling. My friend whom I used to work with went there and enjoys her experience so far. I've heard mostly good things about Slalom so I'd encourage you to check it out.
I was deciding between two offers... Deloitte and Slalom and ultimately had I not wanted big four experience I would have picked S. The local model is awesome and allows for federal hours on commercial work. Super legit! Only downside is that they are structured very "flat" you can "consultant" level work being supported by ppl 3 years out of undergrad and 20 years into a career . The promotion potential/titles are a hard sell if you were to want to come back to big 4/leadership
Slalom is a weird model. Really depends on your level and industry expertise. They don't have alignment so unless you're selling the work you could be working on absolutely anything. But they encourage selling much earlier than other firms. Just my understanding from a buddy who went there.

Dude, look for DayBlink consulting. They are hiring a lot especially from big 4 and growing rapidly. People are giving 5 out 5 star over Glassdoor.

@D3 interested you said pay bump. A friend from MBA chose Slalom over Big 4 after internship because she hated travel but she conceded that Slalom paid less in sign on and salary
Also look at ZS associates, they are more pharma focused but big presence in Boston.
I'm not tired of traveling and certainly not burnt out yet but I'm sure if I want to do boutique or if I want to pursue something like a PWC
I generally hear good things. But I agree you could end up working on anything
Knew people who jumped there in 2012 from ACN. They are still there. More local roles. Got pay bump when they left. Know some that left too probabky just like every other firm just less structure than Deloitte
