Alot of dealerships are offering remote paperwork and financing options. Anyone have any experience with this?

I’ve only ever bought cars in person lol, was wondering about tips for negotiating price via email, webex etc?

Even Pre-COVID I would do all negotiations remote. A dealership wanting me to come in prior to agreeing on a price was an instant deal breaker. So two tips:
1. Use everyone’s acceptance of online purchasing to get as many quotes as you can. The best way to run down price is get dealers to bid against each other
2. Arrange everything remote. Financing, insurance products, etc. so you can decline (or accept) any upsets instantly. Have a fixed price in mind for out the door (i clung TTL+fees) and stick to it.

I would maybe negotiate a price you want and say that you’ll sign the dotted line after a quick test drive at the dealer. Personally I would want to drive the car first before I make it mine, definitely caught faulty vehicles while test driving

Making a lot of money relative to the average but feeling poor? Median after-tax income was ~$55,000 in 1981 and was ~$73,000 in 2020. Using a Bank of Canada inflation calculator $55,000 in 1981 is equivalent to ~$165,000 today, which would put someone in the top 10% of earners today. But in 1981 the median family had that extra money. Who can I blame?

Which companies in Canada are giving remote opportunities in the insurance industry?

I'm non US citizen and thinking of moving back to EU. My plan is getting remote opportunities across the world and work as a freelancer. My speciality is Data analytics and BI (Qlikview, Tableau). 1) How likely I can get a gig from the US? 2) if a job looking for a remote 2-3 months contract do they care what country I'm in? 3) how can I compete Indian rates as I'm in Europe 60-70$ per hour as a BI consultant is a good rate but I see online rates as low 10$😫?

Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?

Thank you in advance!!

What’s the best way to maximize having both the chase freedom unlimited and sapphire preferred?

For context, I’ve had the unlimited for 2 years and just opened the preferred because of the bonus offer. I will hit the $4k spending target, but after that, what’s the best way to use these two in tandem, given the unlimited rewards are all around much better.

Apologies in advance if this comes off entitled/arrogant, really just looking for some advice and wanted to give as clear a picture as possible.

I was just informed after the third round of interviews they’d like at least 5 references, two must be supervisors. Can you drive a McLaren 570s in winter in nyc?

Buy/lease now or defer to Q1-2023?

My car broke (engine seized, 10y old). I am interested in 530i ($62k price), however 3year lease is $1,000+ monthly (with $5k down). Monthly lesse payment is 50% more than bmw advertised offers (“south FL dealers are not participating in the program”)

Q to car gurus/experts- should I defer purchase/lease for 6 months? My logic, the impending recession will reduce demand and we will go back to more balanced market (lower prices with negotiation).
