No one can tell you when to move out or spend on yourself. That's your own choice. If you desperately want to move out or buy something for yourself, then do so. Don't let the need to max everything out stop you from living your life.
That said, you're doing great with what you have. Try to max an HSA if you have one. Megabackdoor would come next if your employer allows. Otherwise open a brokerage account and invest in index funds. But make sure you take care of yourself above all else!
For clarity, since I hear a lot of younger people say they “max out” 401k, you mean you’re contributing the 20,500/yr right? Not just what your employer is matching.
Beyond that I’d determine what your individual goals are - do you want to live on your own? Have you saved up a deposit for a home? Have you paid off your car if you have one?
If you're saving for the future, then i think you can spend on yourself! Within reason of course but you deserve some fun stuff too. I personally moved out because I didn't have a lot of independence at home, moving out let me do what i wanted when I wanted. But i also had younger siblings still living at home so that changed things too
Move out. Then this.
