One correction. EY is the Big four firm, not just the GDS. EY is a network of member firms around the world. What you asked about (EY GDS) is not a big four in itself. Hope this makes sense!

EY is still a big four firm and will continue to be one even after the split.

@AC1 what’s the reasoning behind your thinking that it won’t be a big four firm after the split?

Based on revenue numbers, EY is around $40b right now and in fifth position is BDO at $10.3b. Even after the split, EY is expected to still be much ahead of BDO.

EY GDS is offshore model where EY offices located outside India such as US, Europe etc. gets some of the work (not sure of the quality of work) done from EY GDS to save costs
