Alright Big4 TAS folks help me out. So uncle D gave me the D and is still working us like dogs and refusing to up our pay. I called my guy at EY, talked to 2 partners, batta bing batta boom they want me. Now I’ve heard word on the street EY Parthenon is now housed in the same M&A unit as the core TAS group, and further rumors that they are upping salaries in the unit to Parthenon levels. Can anyone provide any insights into this for me going into the salary negotiations phase? Thx and gobless

Most of the review on DXC is negative. How will be job security and work life balance. In most review I see "termination & layoffs." How is current situation in 2022

hi all, currently have two offers:

1: EY - FDD, home city, very good $$ for FDD

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

Strategy Analyst at a corporate -> IT DD/ODD at EYP -> Strategy Consulting at the same firm

Detour or shortcut, my goal is to be in strategy consulting. Is it better to just wait for a couple more years and then go directly into strategy consulting? Are IT DD and ODD experience viewed favourably by strategy consultants?
