Yes. This has been a nemesis question (at least in terms of thinking). I try to be honest. But I structure it. I give a background of who I am and then relate it the weakness and end it with actionable steps I'm taking to improve and progress I have made
Prob one of the most difficult interview questions. Need to be careful here bcus you dont want that weakness to backfire on you
I have obvious answers - which happens to be honest... hate losing incredibly much and am very stubborn. Both happen to be easy to turn around into positives which helps!
Studies have actually shown that being honest is best... most interviews can see through your weakness to strength comments. In the end you come off looking less genuine. Pick something that’s real and as someone said, show how you take steps to mitigate or address
Kryptonite
I say I can’t spell. Then I turn that around and say because of that I recheck all my eorl
IMO, I would avoid the whole “turning negatives into positives” because you’re not really answering the question. Just be honest - everyone has weaknesses. Is it your analytical skills? Maybe a certain sector your unfamiliar with? Maybe style of writing? They will understand and know that it’s something you can work on
Definitely shouldn’t say you’re stubborn. You don’t want to come off as difficult to work with
I think being stubborn is a great asset actually.
Obviously if you’re interviewing for a very technical job you won’t say analytical skills are your weakness. I think the one thing to pick is the thing you get most often in your feedback as an improvement point. We all know what it is, just takes some time to put a good spin on it
