Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I had this scenario. It doesn’t make you more attractive. I doubt Team B would look at Team A feedback (not even sure how this would be possible).
The one thing is does impact is timings. I would reach out to Recruiter B/Hiring Manager B and explain the situation. If Team B take 5+ days to get back to you, you’re leaving Team A waiting for a long period of time, which is not good.
Perhaps this exists only for recruiters as a special permission in the hire tool. Either way, it wouldn’t be used by Team B. Not how the hiring process works
Not necessarily, but if you do well in your interview then I think that would make you more attractive to both. Best case scenario you do so well that the two depts want to fight over you, and you get two great offers.
No it wouldn’t. One team can’t poach another teams candidate after they accept the offer. It’s really frown upon to recruit someone already talking to another teams candidate but that does happen every now and then.
Originally was supposed to be a split-loop, so technically both teams had initial interest, but have only received 1 offer so far.
