Being annoyed is fine but it’s part of the job (assuming you’re at a decent sized firm). Stuff like this will happen and you need to be able to deal with it without too much issue if you expect to stay around long.
Yeah and even though I was under the assumption no one worked weekends, it seemed to good to be true. Just BS because I got picked up for this job
I think they lied to you about not working weekends
Wait, no one at your firm has ever worked a Saturday? Where are you working?
I’d say in over a year I’ve been working here, I’m close to having worked more Saturdays than not
I guarantee you that people in your firm have worked Saturday’s (regardless of busy season).
Welcome to full-time employment then. You shouldn’t be frustrated, as you should be expecting this more than you think.
If this is your first week and you e never heard your coworkers working weekends, that prob means your interviewers and buddies told you some bold face lie
At EY I've seen this happen several times, pick up the staff Friday, keep them for the whole weekend
