Twitter was once a glorious, safe platform. Became divisive way before Elon Musk took over with spamming, spoof accounts. Instead of cleaning it up and making it viable and equal platform returning it to how it was Mr Musk , made it worse and more sexist, elitist and controlled by celebrity accounts, sports accounts and became a stupid bullying platform unless you were big organisation or business . Impossible to run an account to post Tweets without being spammed by advertisers or fake accounts or spoof acconts or having the accounts spammed by 'celebrity' posts when did not follow those accounts. Bullied by sports industry e.g lots of sports posts on your account or posts that endorsed left wing political views by people accounts whom you were not following Aggressive . That was before Musk took over. That Twitter used to be a safe, and creative platform when there was nasty or problematic posts that posted onto your account Twitter would find out via their IP address who did this and inform you and block them . That process stopped 2016 or 2017 long before Elon Musk took over. He was aware of the faults on Twitter but instead of stopping the forced 'follow these topics' and 'follow idiotic celebrities and sports people. ' Was very political bullying culture on Twitter by influencers, for those advertisers and their promoters influencers .Trashy nonsense with aan online bullying by both state and non state actors and everyone im between, political views e.g pop stars endorsing their make up brands that spammed your account. Private accounts being spammed by advertisers and posts about political groups .Do believe that Elon Musk wanted to stop this but , instead he became caught up within it made it 100% worse. went from Woke to Worse than Woke. Then worse . Not possible to have. Twitter Account and be safe with no abuse now with no spamming unless you are a large and powerful organisation. Very sexist . And irrespective of his views . Issues way before he took over. Advertisers themselves and promoters are aggressive. Privacy laws were floated before he took over and where Twitter fixed these and responded before 2016 then this stopped thereabouts. Issues he experienced That he needed to organise the do and dont's . Twitter accounts can promote dangerous ideas , with false tropes about women ,dangerous and sexist and racist. Also promote sstupid ideas Nothing to do with Musk. He had enough money and technology and contacts to turn it around. . That Twitter went wrong. Before he bought it . Then he did not correct the issues but used it as a megaphone for wrong perspective's of rich and powerful idiots . This is an opportunity to change how things work Elon Musk. Use this as an opportunity . Clean up Twitter make is safe . No abuse not racism Stop promoting racist or hints of that within bad political views. Does Twitter need advertising? Possible it needs a re brand respects all.
