Accenture Hello, this past December I applied to a Devops role at Accenture. I didn’t get the position but I looked on their website and noticed they have an software engineer apprenticeship. I emailed the recruiter about the apprenticeship but she didn’t get back to be. But after telling me I didn’t get the position she did say to wait six months to apply for another position. I really think I would be a good fit for the apprenticeship. What can anyone recommend? Can I possibly get a referral.

I had interviewed at Nagarro and cleared all the rounds, but since two weeks the HR is saying that there is a glitch in their hiring portal due to which there are not able to release the offer.
This is raising an alarm that I should join Nagarro or not.

Be very careful with those. Almost impossible for US as they have a lottery based visa process and Canada process is pretty straightforward. Be clear on what u are paying the consultant for because there is not much they can do as these are visa dependent (maybe in Canada they can help with job but see it thst job is worth it).

I’m currently in Canada (doing a masters), Indians initially have a tough time getting a job in Canada as employers look for Canadian experience. You’ll basically start from scratch. Apply for a PR and see if Amazon can transfer you to a Canadian office instead.
Side note - the grass always seems to be greener on the other side, think it through as to why you want to move to Canada/US.

Not too sure about Canada but keep in mind that every month 1000s of foreigners get PR for Canada and a majority of them are Indians with masters and post graduate. Not many good jobs are available for someone from India without a work permit when the companies can just hire from PR pool.
