Any dog boarding recs in NYC? I’m at 31/park ave. So prefer something nearby.

I used Far Fetched Acres and LOVED them. They pick up and bring back your pup, which is a huge convenience. Also they have photo updates (and videos if you are paying for extra training).

OP - that’s a shame. But glad to hear they are doing well enough to be so popular!

Can you narrow down to borough or neighborhood? Lots of dog boarding within the city, or there’s companies like Far Fetched Acres that pick up and take your dog upstate

We used them a few years ago for a trip to Europe - great space in PA where the dogs can run around and they post videos every day

Join Nextdoor app and put up a post. You’ll be amazed how many neighbors will volunteer to care for your dog

I’d rather have someone from rover stay with him full time then to do that.

Anyone used biscuits and bath?

Know of two friends who have and live

I deeply miss my ex. The breakup was initiated by me 5 years ago because I was scared to commit. Since then, I’ve gotten married and have a daughter. I’m so embarrassed to admit it but I think about my ex everyday. I am so sad that I walked away from him. Life is ok now - I’m thankful for my family but my heart hurts. How do I move on?

We are two males in our mid 20s looking for a clean and respectful 3rd roommate to sign a new lease for a 3-bedroom apartment in LES starting 9/1. It is close to several restaurants, bars, grocery stores and the building is a luxury building with several amenities. Trader Joe’s is a 5 min walk and the subway is right by the building. The room we are looking to fill will be priced at 2050. You will be sharing the bathroom with one person only.

Anyone in downtown bk or Williamsburg wants to join our board game group?

We are currently a group of 3, but one person is moving to west coast soon, which reduces our board game options and complexity!

We tend to hangout with limited groups of friends and meet up at least every other week. So ideally just want to find 1-2 more like-minded people to join us.

If you are interested, please leave a comment with what are your top 3 board games and a description of your personality :)

For the NJ folks who work in NYC - my potential new employer has offices in both NJ and NYC. The NJ office is a 1.5 hour drive vs. NYC ~40 min commute via train. Still very much hybrid work arrangement. Given the option, which office would you prefer to be based out of and why? Mostly asking from a tax perspective. While I believe it’ll even out when filing, I’d be paying state tax in both states throughout the year, right?

Does anyone here live near East 83rd St and 3rd Ave? I'm interested in an apartment there but I noticed a huge construction site at the corner there. The agent said the construction there is now mostly just facade work on the top so it's not noisy any more, but I don't 100% buy that. If anyone lives in that area, can you please tell me if you can still hear any construction noise from inside your apartment when you close your windows at all? Thanks!
