I have been going on interviews and noticed 2 department heads already assume I was laid off or fired due to a 4 months gap. I explained I left my last role due to short term health issues that have been resolved. Not even sure how to respond when they assume. Any advise? Thanks!

I am booked on a month-long gig at a great agency and another not as good agency just reached out to book me for a three month gig. The agency I am at has said they could possibly extend me and they just put me on a TV campaign that ships mid March But haven’t definitely said they are extending me past the initial month booking. Would it be bad form to say to the agency I am currently at that another agency wants to book me for three months and ask them to book me for two more months

Currently up north, I make $26.11/hr to train new techs and pharmacists and have received a raise every year since 2019. Is this there anything even comparable in VA? I am looking for an investment property and reached out to a realtor and had a couple of conversations with them and they have sent me the listings and I told them to start scheduling viewings and told them my availability this weekend with the houses I like. They said they would schedule something but I haven't heard back and it is now Sunday evening. I didn't follow up because I got busy, but is it a sign to change the realtor? What's the best way to find a good realtor?

I was taught to rent where you live and own your investments so your not tied to it and restricted. To give context I’m 22 years old, and I see other family members having a headache selling their home. My question is do you guys recommend owning where you live vs renting ?

After being mugged and having my things (including my keys) stolen, I was locked out of my townhome after business hours on a weekend. I was told on the phone when dialing my complex’s after hours number (which is managed by a 3rd party company) that my complex’s policy would let me in for a cost of $100 (as it was after hours). After I was let in, property manager informed me the charge was $200. Is there anything I can do here? This is in Minnesota. Help appreciated!!

What price per sq foot to investors start buying in the north ATX home? My home is on the market and not moving. Trying to understand at what price point does it become attractive to investors

I see two crowds these days. One thinks housing market will crash. The other thinks housing market will soar.

The contrarian in me makes me think this is a decent indication that housing market will stagnate (or increase minimally) for a few years.

As a general rules, I feel like the majority cannot foresee a crash/surge coming. The prevalence of such expectations would hamper the pre-conditions necessary for such a dramatic change.

In this market would you decide to either use the money you have for down payment on a home, invest it stocks, something else, or just hold?

Bought a house with 10% down for 380k. Appraisal came in a 400k but now I’m doing renovations. Completely redoing both bathrooms in the house. Removing popcorn ceilings, installed new AC with new ductwork and insulation, installed a new tankless gas water heater and building out laundry room in garage. Should I refinance after this to get rid of PMI? Current rate for 30 yr is 2.625%. Aka is it safe to assume my appraisal can come back above 435k to equate to 20% equity?
