Is it a bad look to accept an offer now and tell the new employer I can only start after the second week of the new year? My current firm gives out bonus at the last week of each year. If I give my notice before the new year, I won’t get the year end bonus. Although it probably won’t be huge, but it’ll certainly be nice to have with all the inflation going on.

Has anyone negotiated for a signing bonus with their new EA position? For what it’s worth I’d be moving 3 hours away to take a new job.
