Any information on promotion announcement in UK?When will it be announced?

My company has given me a promotion without a raise. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Little background:

Asked for promotion in late 2020 - was required to skill up, after skilling up, asked again about when I'll be promoted and was denied because there is no "vacancy" for it.
Got my annual hike in Oct 2021 without the promotion. I asked HR last week again and got a random announcement email saying my promotion is w.e.f Oct 2021. ( and no raise for the newly promoted role).

Does BNP APAC does background verification before sending offer letter or after sending the offer letter?

I have not been asked about the educational certificates yet.

They have only asked the PAN, PASSPORT and Current employer salalry slips and promotion letter.

P.s - I have recieved the offer letter now.

Will they be still doing any background verification or this is done ?

Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal? I know another AA that handles 3+ people but idk if she’s hourly or salary. Any thoughts?

I just had my 3 month performance evaluation. It went really well and I received a raise, but I’m worried if I should of negotiated it. It went from $41K to $45K. Is this reasonable? I’m considering I’ve been in the field for only 3 months.

Joined LTI recently in P3 band. However not allocated any project. Got a call from the resource management team to relocate, which I rejected upfront as I was promised a role in the location I am posted. It has been over 2 weeks since I am in bench. Ive accepted an offer going from a SM role to M role at EY in the CCas team , London office. Can anyone confirm how often one needs to come into the office, as my commute is from Hampshire . In my current role I rarely go to the office, i.e once every few months (also in London) and am considering backing out due to the additional commuting cost and less flexible work life balance.

Hey, I received a verbal offer from EY for a role as manager, which was quite a low ball offer. I had received another offer from a different firm and I informed EY HR about it. I was told yesterday that they have an updated offer for me, scheduled the call twice with me but didn't actually call and told me she got occupied in other meetings. I have not got a response from her yet on the mails, should I contact the hiring partner directly? other firm is asking me to update as well.
