Any insight into the Covid hiring freezes at MBB? Wondering if new applications for experienced hires are being reviewed or if things are still on hold for now.

I work as an Engineer in Post Production and do quite a bit of coding (my favorite part of what I do). I’m curious, are there others out there that code daily in this industry? If so, how do you leverage that skill in your position? What languages do you primarily work with? Are you self taught, get a certificate, learn from a Boot Camp, or from college? Would love to hear your stories and backgrounds.

What’s the general consensus:

When a company throws up the exact same job post that has appeared before and is still live (and potentially even exists in multiples beyond just two), should this be taken as an indicator that there is more than one opportunity for a given role, or is this essentially the LinkedIn recruitment version of “bump?”

Currently interviewing at JPMorgan in their CIB division for a associate operations role. Have met with 5 people for two different teams and another person for another team, all of which I believe are 3 total open positions for 3 different teams. Any insight on the interview process or how long it takes or any sort of idea to give me on what I could look for that might help me believe I might get an offer? Checked my online application again recently and still says “In Consideration”

i currently work in finance strategy transformation under the cfo group.. we do a lot of thinking about how to make the cfo group more tech savy as well as other levers to be more efficient.. im thinking about my long term career and the 2 easy options i see are either corporate strategy or try to learn as much as i can about tech and position myself as a SME in the finance tech strategy space.... wondering if anyone has previously held a similar role and what their exit was

Looking to exist Salesforce due to “Comp Throttling”. Even with promotions every year (2) exiting looks to increase OTE by 80-120% (3YOE)I have offers from Hubspot and a Saleforce partner for CS. Partner Is 18% higher OTE, with a much larger workload and worst WLB.
