I'm expecting at least 10% like the previous year given
I don't get it why people are so furious and excited about max to max 5-6% appraisal, will that really make a difference in your lifestyle.

A word of advice :
Stay grounded and don’t get swayed by every Tony and Harris statements - on appraisal.
Just ring your bells - the statement provided by any of the CEO/MD when providing hikes in a service based organizations-
Hikes are typically determined by factors like individual performance, market standards and tenure within the organization.
It’s important to understand the reality behind the leadership's statements.
Why come any service based org will give a 2 digit hike(if this is what your expectations are) for a lateral employee who joined last year unless the person is soo committed and soo much good which happens 2 in a 100 to have the talent in organization.
By keeping realistic expectations in line with market conditions, you’ll save yourself from unnecessary stress and avoid setting yourself up for disappointment.
Stay patient, stay informed, stay less expectations, stay understanding of leaders words, stay patient and finally stay blessed !
