Howdy from the other side of the pond hoser! (#sorryhadto)
I've tried to look at this in the other direction and it can get complicated even from a taxation point of view. For example in some situations you could get stuck paying income taxes to the US while still owing your local taxes in Canada.
I'd start here:

Best of luck!
Yep, definitely something to keep in mind. Might work differently if you were hired as a freelancer/on a contract basis though. Might be able to avoid U.S. taxes that way. Worth looking into.
I’m in space/satellite industry as well. We just hired a contractor from Australia. Fully remote. In fact, we have offices all around the world. I am sure you can join while being in Canada. I am sure some positions might require moving to the US since a good amount of space stuff is for the government.
What's stopping you from moving to the US and having dual citizineship

Oh I thought SpaceX only hired US citizens? (As they work with nasa and require a certain security clearance)
I have all the clearances for secret/classified and currently work on projects for NASA and other US military organizations... But every @SpaceX, @BlueOrigin, @Kuipers job application always states a requirement to be geographically located in the US... wondering if this is actually a truth or something they can make exceptions to...
I can't be of much help myself, other than to say how cool this is and how jealous I am. Always dreamed of working in that industry.
