Or is it affected by the Trump executive order that was passed in Jun that said non-immigrant workers can't enter the country till Dec 31? is anyone familiar with pay differentials, negotiating for a temporary raise or some other form of compensation for extra work? 3 coworkers on my team have recently resigned, and certain shifts are being expected to work at half staff until new hires can be brought on. if my workload is being doubled, i expect to be compensated, as they are paying one employee to do the work of two. any suggestions or wording on how to address this?

I learned that I unknowingly helped my coworker with a personal problem, and it made remember that even a short conversation can make all the difference.
