I am in a period of growth in my role (in house and getting more exposure to top management) - im grateful for it but I also have constant anxiety during and after work hours. Does anyone who’s been in a similar position have tips for riding this wave? Hoping it’ll get easier.

I have many options to consider but two options below are what I’m thinking of right now.

Job A: Project Engineer. 135K/yr base. 10% signing bonus.

Job B: Senior Project Manager. Contract. $60/hr standard. $90/hr overtime.

International tax manager with 7 years experience all at KPMG. Thinking about switching to industry to see it from a new perspective and do similar work from a different angle. How do you successfully transfer B4 skills/experience to industry (how do you find the right fit?), and how do you continue to learn and build your skills so that you’re still marketable and could boomerang back if it doesn’t work out in a few years? I'm an environmental engineer with little bit experience in the field gained in my country. I moved to the UK before covid and got a sales assistant job and later, an engineering and compliance administrator job. However, I want to get into the environmental field (sustainability, ecology, etc) but I feel like my experience before the UK doesn't count to the recruiters, since I'm only getting proposals from administrator roles.
