Looking for suggestions-
I have accepted one offer and my joining date is on feb 2021 but now I got one more offer which is good as compared to the older one.
Now, I want to decline the 1st offer. Please suggest, how to do that. Also, is there any legal action the company can take against me or is there any blacklist kind of thing may happen ?

I have learned a lot today. First and foremost, never schedule a 9:00 a.m. call with a senior associate unannounced. Second, people actually struggle with what suits they should buy. Third, some people are really overprotective about first-year associates(where were you last year?)

Do you think it’s worth it to keep sending out resumes and being active on the job hunt? I feel like organizations’ top priority right now is staying afloat, not hiring new people.

Hi everyone, I’m a 27 y/o female who recently found out that my AMH level was a 0.5 which I wasn’t expecting. With no plans on getting pregnant anytime soon, this made me really worry, so I’m looking into egg freezing for my future fertility journey.
I’m currently located in NYC and I was able to get my first fertility assessment done at Kindbody, but now wondering if I should get second opinion at a different clinic (maybe im in denial).
I would love to hear any doctor or clinic recs in nyc!

How do you make new friends if you’re unable to with a side hobby and a FT job? Our friends with kids have pretty much forgotten about us after they had kids and even more so during COVID. Been in NYC all of our lives (mid 30’s) and not sure why this is even an issue.

Neighborhood Q: I'm looking for a place near Prospect Park & QRBF trains. I'm still learning about BK neighborhoods & was curious about this area (PLG/Flatbush) & Gowanus. I did see some of the units coming up are close to the hospital where the red block is; someone in here brought up the extra siren noise that brings.

I found a unit bordering Gowanus/Park Slope. I just started reading about the Gowanus canal toxicity & EPA clean up. Would you recommend staying away from the area?

Moving to NYC from Canada and was hoping to sign a lease prior to arrival (I have friends that can view for me). How feasible is this? I’m assuming this happens a lot, but I’m sure landlords or building management would be skeptical if they haven’t had the chance to meet me. I just want to do everything as quick and efficiently as possible. I’ll also be shipping everything so I need to inform the moving company of a new address.

I live above a restaurant that BLARES music (floor is vibrating to the point I'm nauseous) but all within 7AM-10PM by law in NYC. But it's starting to get weird when they pause their music to listen to my conversations and I can hear them at 4AM prepping. I live in a 200 sq ft. studio and there is no where for me to escape to. NY has a "right to quiet enjoyment" statute that if a reasonable person would be disturbed, the landlord must fix it (see next)
